Terms & Conditions

Roxan Energy Services Pty Ltd (ABN: XX XXX XXX XXX) is a licensed electrical contracting company operating in Australia. We hold the relevant electrical contractor licences required in each state and territory in which we operate.

We provide electrical contracting, metering, consulting, asset lifecycle management, and renewable energy services. All services are subject to a separate written quote or service agreement. No work will commence without written confirmation from both parties.

All electrical work is performed in accordance with:

• AS/NZS 3000:2018 (Wiring Rules)
• Applicable state and territory electrical safety legislation
• National Electricity Rules (NER) where applicable

All quotes provided are estimates based on information supplied at the time of enquiry and are valid for 30 days. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ materially from the initial scope. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.

We are required to charge GST on all taxable supplies in accordance with the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999. Our ABN and GST registration details will appear on all tax invoices.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A deposit of up to 30% may be required prior to commencement of works
• Progress invoices may be issued for works spanning multiple stages
• Final payment is due within 14 days of invoice date
• Late payments attract interest at the rate prescribed under the relevant state Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act

Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled appointment may incur a call-out fee. Variations to the agreed scope of work must be approved in writing and may affect pricing and timeframes.

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACCC), consumers have statutory rights that cannot be excluded, including the right to a refund, repair, or replacement where services are not delivered as agreed.

Roxan Energy Services offers a workmanship guarantee on completed electrical installations. The duration and scope of this guarantee will be specified in your written service agreement. This guarantee covers defects directly attributable to our workmanship and does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by third parties, misuse, or events outside our control
• Equipment covered under a separate manufacturer's warranty

Our workmanship guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Upon completion of notifiable electrical work, we will issue an Electrical Safety Certificate (or equivalent as required by the relevant state or territory authority). It is the responsibility of the property owner to retain this certificate as it may be required for insurance purposes, property sale, or future electrical work.

Emergency call-out services are available subject to technician availability. While we endeavour to provide a rapid response, we cannot guarantee specific response times for emergency calls. Emergency services are charged at premium rates as specified in your service agreement or on our current fee schedule.

Note: For life-threatening electrical emergencies, always contact emergency services (000) first.

Solar PV system installations are carried out by Clean Energy Council (CEC) accredited installers. All grid-connected systems comply with AS/NZS 4777 and are approved by the relevant Distribution Network Service Provider (DNSP). Eligibility for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) is subject to Australian government policy and the characteristics of your installation, and we make no guarantee of specific rebate amounts.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roxan Energy Services' liability for any claim arising from or related to our services is limited to the cost of re-supplying the services or the amount paid for those services, whichever is lesser. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

We handle all personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the state or territory in which the services were performed.
